Erika Usami (宇佐美 えり香) is a supporting character of the series Tsuritama. She is classmates with the main cast, and sits next to Yuki Sanada. Erika is one of the first people Yuki's age that Yuki sees upon his arrival to Enoshima.

Erika is granddaughter of Heihachi, the town's mayor.

Personality

Erika is shown to be a sociable person as she is one of the only classmates to repeatedly initiate contact with Yuki by greeting him and smiling at him. She is often seen with the twins Yumi and Emi Itou, who seem to be her best friends. Erika's hobby is surfing and she helps out as a temple maiden at the Enoshima shrine.

Appearence

As a student that attends the same highschool as the main cast, Erika wears the typical school uniform, consisting of a blue blazer, red sweater, white short-sleeved dress shirt, and black tie. As a girl attending the school, she wears a black skirt, black socks, and brown loafers.

Erika has a typical look of a Japanese highschool student — dark hair with dark eyes. Both qualities are brown. There is a beauty mark underneath her right eye, making her recognizable. Erika's hair ends around the beginning of her breasts.

Alternatively, after she is evacuated from Enoshima, she wears her hair in a ponytail that is settled to a side in a dark magenta crunchie. Erika dons a casual flower t-shirt, shorts, and a different pair of shoes. It is shown that she wears pigtails and a traditional shrine maiden's uniform when she is assisting her grandfather at a shrine.

Background

Tamotsu's personal past is not very well known, however, two years prior to the beginning of the series, his wife, Shinobu, had passed away, making a rift in between him and his son, Natsuki. During this time period he had also met and began to see a new woman named Mariko, much to his daughter's approval and son's displeasure.

Trivia

• Other than being relatives, Natsuki and Erika get along well. They also give little gifts to each other during family gatherings, etc.

• She is an only child.
• Her three sizes are 90.58.87. It should be noted it was not only the girls "measured", as Akira was "measured" as well.
• An official Q&A on twitter stated the girl sitting in front of Erika and the guy sitting to Erika’s right (藤田 - can be read as Fujita or Nakatani) are dating. There’s a hilarious moment where Yuichi Takahashi, the one who mentioned this info, made a mistake and accidentally implied that 藤田 was dating the guy sitting in front of him instead.
